Privacy Policy

my tactic board collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: email address and password (encrypted), used to manage your account and sync your content.
• Coaching content: tactics, formations, drills, and training sessions you create and save.
• Player roster information: if you choose to add player names to build lineups or rosters, this is stored as part of your coaching content, entered by you (the coach), not the player. See Section 7.
• Payment information: payment processing is handled by Stripe (web) and Apple/Google’s in-app purchase systems (mobile). We never store, see, or touch your full card details.
• Usage data: anonymous, aggregated data about how the app is used (features opened, session length), collected via Firebase Analytics.
• Advertising data: my tactic board does not currently display ads.

Your tactics and drills are stored locally on your device for the free tier. If you create an account or subscribe to Pro, your content is also synced to our servers so it’s available across your devices.

We use the data we collect exclusively to:

• Provide and operate the app’s core features (tactical board, drills, session planning)
• Sync your content across devices
• Process subscription payments
• Send transactional messages (welcome, payment confirmation, support replies)
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and ensure security

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

my tactic board uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Apple / Google: in-app purchase processing (mobile)
• Firebase (Google): authentication and data storage. policies.google.com/privacy
• Firebase Analytics (Google): usage analytics

Our app/website uses local storage to save your preferences and free-tier content directly on your device. A session cookie may be set for authentication purposes; this is strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account data is retained for 90 days before deletion, in case you wish to resubscribe.

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@mytacticboard.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

my tactic board is designed for use by coaches, who are adults. The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (US) or under 16 (EU/UK, unless local law sets a lower age). The minimum age to hold an account is 16 years.

When a coach adds player names or roster information for a youth team, that information is provided by the coach, not the child, and is used solely to support the coach’s own tactical and training planning. Coaches are responsible for having appropriate authority (e.g., from a club, league, or parent/guardian) to enter player information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child’s information has been added inappropriately, contact us at support@mytacticboard.com and we will remove it.

Your data is transmitted over HTTPS. Data stored via Firebase is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure, which is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are located in the EU, UK, USA or Brazil, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise these rights, contact support@mytacticboard.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30 days under GDPR/LGPD).

Data may be processed on servers located in the United States (via Firebase/Google Cloud). If your data is transferred outside your home country (e.g., from the EU or Brazil to the US), we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place as required by GDPR and LGPD.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email if you have an account, or via an in-app notice. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
